Monday evenings · term time

A section for every age

Boys join as young as P1 and can stay through to their mid-teens, moving up through three sections — each with its own programme, leaders and place in the life of the Company.

Anchor Boys

P1 – P4 · ages 4–8

The Anchor Boys are the youngest section in The Boys' Brigade. We have lots of fun doing different activities which include Bible stories, crafts, music, games, sports, making friends and working towards our badges.

Junior Section

P5 – P7 · ages 8–11

On a Monday evening the boys take part in a programme made up of a variety of activities, which include games, sporting activities, craft, quizzes, cookery, marching/drill and Bible time. Many of these activities contribute towards their award badges, which are presented at the annual inspection.
