The Brigade's highest honour

King's & Queen's Badge recipients

The highest award a boy can earn in The Boys' Brigade. The 24th has sent many boys to receive it across the century — this roll gathers their names.

The award has carried the name of the reigning monarch through its history. It was the King's Badge from its introduction, became the Queen's Badge on the accession of Queen Elizabeth II in 1952, and is once again the King's Badge today. The 24th's first three King's Badges were awarded in 1933/34; six boys received the Queen's Badge in 1963.

Recipients needed — we know the 24th earned its first three King's Badges in 1933/34 and six Queen's Badges in 1963, but we don't yet have the names. Help us build the full roll — recipient names, the year each received the badge, and whether it was the King's or Queen's Badge at the time. If you or a family member earned the badge with the 24th, we'd be honoured to record it. Add a recipient →
